Defend Democracy Saturdays: Concerned Carolinians Hillsborough

Please join Concerned Carolinians and Engaged Defenders for Democracy every Saturday 11am-12 pm at the Old Orange County Courthouse: 106 King Street Hillsborough. This will be a POSITIVE and nonviolent demonstration. We are here to protect our democracy. We are standing up for what we believe in. We want to inspire people to join us and grow our movement! Please bring positive signs only. Some examples: Instead of "Stop defunding science" Say "Protect Research" "Immigrants make us stronger" "Housing for all" "Healthcare for all" "Save the planet" Make signs about what you're standing up for -- whether that is the libraries, DEI, healthcare, women’s rights Please no mocking signs, no swastikas We are excited to see you there and stand together for our country!
