Pike-Wayne Chapter Meeting

**Join us for our monthly Pike-Wayne Chapter Meeting!** At our October meeting, we'll be talking about how our members can take action to protect voters' rights and defend the 2026 elections! Don't miss this chance to learn how YOU can be a democracy defender this year right here in Pike & Wayne counties. We’ll be joined by our Voting & Elections Manager Beth Gilbert, who will talk with us about election protection and some of the things we can do right now. We’ll cover checking our voter registration, knowing who runs our local elections, keeping an eye on public meetings, sharing accurate information, and what to do if we see or experience a problem. Longtime organizer & activist Penn Garvin will also lead a de-escalation training to help us feel a little more prepared to respond calmly and safely if a situation becomes tense. **MONTHLY DETAILS** Our work continues because action is the antidote.
