Rural Rising Teach-In series

Welcome to Rural Rising, an interactive learning series that explores a different topic each session, followed by an opportunity to practice engaging in meaningful conversations around each topic through guided sessions. We are non-partisan in approach, and focused on living democratic values. This series is offered in a hybrid format, offering both in-person and virtual attendance options. (Location and zoom link provided upon confirmation of attendance, prior to meeting day). All times are Arizona time (MST-AZ). Currently we align with PST (EST minus 3 hours). On November 1, times will align with MST standard (PST+1 or EST minus 2 hours). Rural Rising Teach-in Series runs August 2025 - November 2026 🌵 This Rural Rising Teach-in Series was co-created by Mohave and La Paz County Democratic Central Committee County Chairs, Diane and Monica. They are joined by other County Chairs across Arizona to share our combined knowledge and experiences with you. Come participate between now and November 2026: 🌵 Monthly issues-based deep dives with experts & thought leaders on subjects impacting our people & communities. As we speak with our neighbors and other community members, we become an invaluable link to resources for them.
