About this event
Are you a white person who is fed up with the current administration, committed to fighting racism, but not sure where to start? Join us to learn more about Showing Up for Racial Justice (SURJ) the largest organization in the US that explicitly brings together white people to fight racism and injustice. On this one hour call we will: - Get a short orientation to SURJ, meet people who are new, and hear from people who have been organizing with us for awhile. - Make sense of the current state of the world right now. - Learn how to take action: join our Block by Block campaign, join our phonebanks to elect progressive candidates, find a chapter or circle near you, and make plans to take action in your own community.
