About this event
**OCTOBER DETAILS** At our October meeting, we'll be talking about how our members can take action to protect voters' rights and defend the 2026 elections! Don't miss this chance to learn how YOU can be a democracy defender this year right here in our West Branch counties. We’ll be joined by our Executive Director Alisha Hoffman-Mirilovich and Voting & Elections Manager Beth Gilbert, who will talk with us about election protection and some of the things we can do right now. We’ll cover checking our voter registration, knowing who runs our local elections, keeping an eye on public meetings, sharing accurate information, and what to do if we see or experience a problem. Longtime organizer & activist (and West Branch Action Together member!) Penn Garvin will also lead a de-escalation training to help us feel a little more prepared to respond calmly and safely if a situation becomes tense. ## Monthly Details Get together with your West Branch friends to hear what's going on throughout our chapter's counties, get some regional updates and calls to action, and prep for what's ahead. The West Branch Chapter includes Northumberland, Snyder, Union, Lycoming, and Tioga Counties, so if you're in any of those counties, we would love to have you. **The West Branch Chapter of Action Together NEPA meets on the 1st Wednesday of each month at 6pm on Zoom.**
