Join us for the 2026 Granville County Democratic Party's Monthly Meeting! This is your opportunity to build grassroots power in your community, elect precinct leadership, and strengthen our Democratic movement ahead of critical upcoming elections. At this meeting, we will: ✅ Hear from local leaders ✅ Learn about upcoming training and voter outreach opportunities **Our June Meeting** will be a meet-and-greet with our awesome new state senator &2026 candidate, Sen. Haseeb Fatmi! Come out & get to know our representation, eat some good food, and mingle with likeminded friends! Come meet your neighbors, get involved, and help build a stronger, more organized Democratic Party. Your participation is essential! North Carolina elections are decided by just a handful of votes per precinct, and your engagement makes the difference. --- Our JULY meeting will shift to a Saturday afternoon Adopt-a-Voter training luncheon. Join us for a training luncheon on Adopt-A-Voter, a voter outreach method that is outperforming every traditional tactic we have. Here's how it works: each volunteer is assigned about 15 low-propensity, left-leaning, but low-propensity voters from the voter file. You reach out on a regular schedule—by postcard, text, handwritten note, whatever feels like you—& you keep showing up for them between now & Election Day. You're not a stranger knocking on a door. You become a consistent presence. Someone they recognize. Someone who gave them a reason to show up. You don't have to live in Granville County to do this. Out-of-state & out-of-district volunteers are welcome—& needed. At this training, we'll cover: -How Adopt-A-Voter works & what the data shows -How to reach your 15 voters in a way that's sustainable -What's worked in the pilot—& what hasn't -How to become a Super Volunteer & coach a team of your own Lunch will be provided.
