Join us at the upcoming Board of Education meeting to make your voice heard. We’ll be showing up together to give public comment on the proposed resolution, ensuring our community’s concerns, priorities, and lived experiences are part of the decision-making process. This is an opportunity to: - Speak directly to the Board about how this resolution impacts students, families, and educators - Call for transparency, accountability, and community-centered decision-making - Stand alongside others who care about the future of our public schools **Whether you plan to speak or just want to support, your presence matters. What to Expect: - Prep and support before public comment - Help crafting or practicing your statement (optional) - Group coordination so folks feel confident speaking - Community presence inside the meeting Pick up your Yellow Ticket ticket from the Board of Education Building by 5:30 PM (2320 US-70 BUS, Smithfield, NC 27577).
