Monthly status (zoom) followed by letter/postcard writing on your own

This monthly status update event is on ZOOM. It will be followed by letter/postcard writing on your own. There are separate events to attend IN-PERSON letter/postcard writing at multiple locations. Starting April '26 we will be writing Vote Forward letters. The evening will start with a 10-15 minute status update. Then we'll dive into writing letters/postcards. You can stay on zoom to be connected to the in-person meetings or drop off and write at your own pace. We suggest you write letters (when available), which are easier to prepare from home than postcards. How to get your VOTE FORWARD letters: Sign up as a volunteer on Vote Forward at votefwd.org/swingleft. It takes a day or so to get approved as a volunteer, so plan to sign up 3-4 days ahead of the event. Download and print 20 letters to write at the event and gather your materials. You will need 20 first class stamps, a blue and/or colored pens, and tape or sticker rounds (no envelopes this time).
