This seat represents a key opportunity for Democrats to expand their coalition and build momentum toward a more balanced and responsive state government. Electing Eileen means sending a proven public servant to fight for fully funded schools, affordable health care, public transportation, and an economy that works for working families. **WHY THIS STATE** A perennial presidential battleground, Pennsylvania is also highly competitive at the state level as one of only three states in the country with a divided legislature. The stakes are particularly high in 2026, with Democratic Governor Josh Shapiro on the ballot.
