Fridays at 4--Letter Writing and More! (4 pm Pacific/7 pm Eastern)

Join us on Fridays at 4 (PST)—Letter Writing and More! to take action - whether you are a long-time activist or beginning your journey to fight for our democracy, you are welcome. Find your calling with our community. We offer various actions to take during our meetings, and will train for: •Postcards with various groups •5 Calls to call or email elected officials •Bluesky to amplify our voices for freedom and democracy •Vote Forward letters and the personal story (most effective type of letter) as soon as they open up their campaigns) In these difficult days, we live by these words: Action Metabolizes Despair. Our main focus is on taking action, but we also enjoy being together and trading encouragement and inspiration. To that end, we rely on our parent organization Indivisible Oregon, as well as others such as Robert Hubbell, Jessica Craven, Heather Cox Richardson, Simon Rosenberg and Politics Girl (Leigh McGowan). We will provide a list of useful links, substacks and podcasts. Find in us an oasis of activism that will boost your spirits and give you energy to engage in the fight of our lifetime.
