Ride for Safety on DeKalb and Lafayette

After years of calling for protected bike lanes on DeKalb and Lafayette Avenues, the Department of Transportation went even further! They proposed a plan for protected bike lanes and dedicated bus lanes across both corridors between Flatbush Ave and Broadway to offer safety and reliability to cyclists and transit users. With winter fast approaching, we need to ensure these ambitious plans are implemented before the 2026 streetwork season ends!
