Mid-Week Student Volunteer Phone Banking and Canvassing

Join the **Central Mississippi Central Labor Council** to help reach voters! We are looking for student volunteers to dedicate a few hours to crucial phone banking and door-to-door canvassing efforts. The standard shift length is 4 hours, but **flexible options are welcome**. If you can only commit to 45 minutes of training and 1 hour of volunteering, we would still love to have you! --- ### Volunteer Schedule * **Saturday, October 24, 2026** * Main Shift: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM * At-Home Phone Banking (Bring your own device): 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM * **Monday, October 26 – Friday, October 30, 2026** * Main Shift: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM * At-Home Phone Banking (Bring your own device): 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM * *Note: Optional door-to-door canvassing shifts may also be available during this week.* * **Saturday, October 31, 2026** * Main Shift: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM * At-Home Phone Banking (Bring your own device): 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM * **Monday, November 2 – Tuesday, November 3, 2026 (Election Day!)** * Morning Shift: 10:00 AM – 2:00 PM * Afternoon Shift: 2:00 PM – 6:00 PM --- ### Technology & Equipment * **Phone Banking:** We have 5 dedicated phones and 5 Chromebooks available at headquarters. If you are comfortable bringing your own devices (a laptop or tablet + a smartphone), you are highly encouraged to do so! * **Canvassing:** To join the door-to-door canvassing team, you will need to bring a smartphone capable of downloading and running our official canvassing application. --- ### Service Credit Hours Available While these positions are unpaid, the CLC will gladly provide any required verification, signatures, or official documentation necessary for students to claim community service credit hours.
