SUNY Purchase Walkout to Freeze AI

Join us on **October 20 at 2:00pm at the Clock Tower, outside Student Services & The Library,** to demand an AI FREEZE! We’ll gather with fellow students, professors, community members, and allies, with speakers sharing their testimony about how unregulated AI has impacted our lives, jobs, communities, and futures – and we’ll call for an immediate freeze on AI development now. Because we the people deserve a **life without fear of surveillance, and a chance at a future! AI is coming for our jobs, our freedoms, our planet!** And we need to determine the future of this dangerous, powerful technology – not leave it to a handful of Big Tech CEOs. Bring your signs and your friends! Be the change you wish to see in the world! THINK WIDE OPEN
