Detroit / Speak Life Party at the Polls Ride to the Poll

Party at the Polls: Rides, Rhythm & Civic Engagement Date: Sunday, October 25, 2026 Time: 12:30 PM – 4:30 PM Location: People’s Community Church 8601 Woodward Avenue, Detroit, MI Everyone is invited! Getting to the polls should never be a barrier to making your voice heard. Join us for Party at the Polls: Rides, Rhythm & Civic Engagement, a community-centered effort to help residents access voting opportunities while celebrating the power of civic participation. We’ll provide rides to the polls, share information about the importance of voting and civic engagement, and create a welcoming atmosphere with music, snacks, and community connection. Whether you need transportation, have questions about voting, or simply want to connect with neighbors who care about the future of our communities, you are welcome! Our goal is simple: remove barriers, encourage participation, and remind our neighbors that our voices matter—not just at the ballot box, but in the decisions that shape our everyday lives. Come ride with us. Get informed. Get involved. Make your voice count! My Vote. My Voice. Our Community. Our Future. **Any food, entertainment, buttons, stickers, or any other free items at this event are available to voters and non-voters alike. This is a nonpartisan event.**
