Your voice and your presence is needed! **Help us pack the room** at Reno City Council and defend the 4th Amendment on Wednesday, October 21, where Councilors will consider approval of a new $21 million contract for automated license plate readers (ALPRs) and other surveillance technology with Axon Enterprise. This vote is happening less than a week after City Council announced the cancellation of their Flock Safety contract and there has been **zero** public engagement on the issue. Demand Reno City Council **not** enter into any new contracts with ALPR companies and instead **ban** this deeply invasive surveillance technology in our City. Join members of BLAG, Northern Nevada DSA, and CodePink Reno in giving public comment at Reno City Council at 10am. **The Axon contract is Agenda Item C.1.** You do not have to live in Reno to give public comment - anytime you drive through Reno, you are impacted by the City's ALPR technology.
