Angie for FL: Community Phone Bank at New Bethel Church (Newtown)

Sarasota, let's get out the vote! Early voting phone banking will be happening at New Bethel Missionary Baptist Church in Newtown for the Defending Democracy Campaign: Get Out the Vote Outreach. With Early Voting starting on the 19th, we need volunteers to make calls to voters across Sarasota and the state and give them the information (and possibly motivation) they need to cast their ballots in our midterm election. We will be a friendly voice on the phone offering assistance and information. Meet in the fellowship hall and enjoy meeting other democracy-defenders! Snacks will be provided. Please bring a laptop or smart phone, their charger(s), and a headset or ear buds. Angie Nixon's SWFL Regional Organizer will be there on the 19th to share talking points with voters, tips for phone banking, and guidance and support for first time callers. Thank you for being part of Angie Nixon's people-powered campaign! Like Angie says: CHANGE CAN'T WAIT!
