TEAM BERNIE: Southfield Public Library

Join us to canvass for Abdul in the Oakland area Monday 10/19 @ 5:30 PM. Join Team Bernie and canvass for Abdul El-Sayed at the Birmingham Farmers Market from 10 AM- 11 AM. Organize and Win Michigan is our program to elect Dr. Abdul El-Sayed to the United States Senate on November 3rd. We are building a powerful grassroots organizing program in communities across the state. Senator Sanders says it best: Friends, Over ten years ago, we set out to create a political revolution in this country. You showed up because you believed in a simple principle that we must build a government that represents all Americans, not just the wealthy few. Right now, our movement is winning. Why? Whether it is a corrupt campaign finance system, unprecedented income and wealth inequality, a broken and wildly expensive healthcare system, the enormous threats posed by AI or an immoral and destructive foreign policy, progressives are talking about the real issues facing working families. And we are providing real solutions while establishment Democrats continue to tinker around the edges. We now have candidates in New York, Ohio, Maine, Pennsylvania, Wisconsin, Montana, Minnesota, Florida, Michigan, California, Colorado, Arizona, and New Jersey who are winning by running campaigns to change the broken political and economic system. And they have the guts to stand up to the billionaires and corporations who only want more political power and money. But this isn't going to be easy. Right now the billionaire class, Donald Trump, and the Republican Party Establishment are spending millions of dollars to defeat our progressive movement. Why? Because they believe that their money can stop our people-powered movement. We know that organized people can beat organized money, but organized people need to show up. So what can you do? I am asking you to show up, organize events, and get out the vote for our progressive candidates before November 3rd. This movement has never been about me. It’s about us.
