10/20 - Voter Mobilization @ Tyler Talarico Rally [INDOOR]

_⚠️ IMPORTANT NOTE: This is a volunteer signup page for Powered by People's voter mobilization team. Signing up here will register you as a volunteer to work the event, not as a general attendee for the rally itself. Because we are partnering with an active campaign, all schedule details and locations are subject to change until finalized by the campaign. We will send out confirmed logistics closer to the event date._ ### Ready to do the work that actually works? In 2024, our face-to-face voter registration model achieved a massive 79% voter turnout among the Texans we registered. We aren't just hoping for change—we have the blueprint to create it. Join Powered by People for the **Talarico for Texas** rally at **Eagles Event Center in Tyler**! We are showing up as volunteers to this event to fire up the rally attendees, spark personal conversations, and build lasting progressive power through relational organizing. At this event, we will: - Engage directly with passionate rally attendees and community members - Check voter registration statuses on the spot (ensuring no one has been purged) - Connect with voters using **Reach**, our relational organizing tool, so we can personally stay in touch with them all the way to Election Day - **All volunteers are welcome!** There are plenty of vital roles for everyone, however you must be Reach certified. ### Shift Schedule & Flow To ensure a smooth and high-impact event, we ask all volunteers to arrive **1 hour before doors open** so that we can optimize working the line of attendees. They will be lining up way in advance, and our goal is to check voter registrations for everyone waiting to get in. Here is what to expect during your shift: [5:00pm-5:30pm]: Setup & Team Huddle | Arrive early to grab your materials, meet the site leads, and align on our goals [5:30-6:00pm] Working the Line (Part 1) | As the crowd grows ahead of doors opening, we will start engaging the very first people in line and continue moving down the lin
