Kristin's a biologist. Shelly's a medical doctor. During the COVID pandemic, Kristin was working at the National Institutes of Health while Shelly was caring for patients in the hospital. They know science and medicine. They understand how disease progresses and how government policy fails. They've been in the trenches. They’re the kind of people we need in Austin and Washington, D.C., where science and health care have been undermined by the current administrations.
