Election Day Volunteer Poll Greeters in South Suffolk

The Suffolk Democratic Committee is working to fill Suffolk's 30 voting locations with Poll Greeters on Tuesday, Nov. 3. We need "all hands on deck" to ensure Dem candidates are elected in this important mid-term race. Shifts (3 or 4 hours) are available throughout South Suffolk. Sign up and BOROUGH CAPTAIN ROBIN H. WILL CALL OR TEXT YOU FROM 252.619.6078 to discuss scheduling a shift at your preferred location. WHAT'S A POLL GREETER? Poll greeters are the volunteers outside voting locations, who offer the Dem Sample Ballot to voters. How does this effort make a difference? Unlike the top of the ticket (U.S. Senator, U.S. Congress), where the party for each candidate is marked clearly on the ballot, local candidates for City Council and School Board are NOT labeled by party. The Dem Sample Ballot clearly indicates the candidates who are endorsed by the Democratic Party. That is how Poll Greeters make a difference - they help get ALL Dem candidates elected! The Sample Ballot also supports voting YES on the 3 Virginia Constitutional Amendments.
