There is an urgent need to convene a tenant meeting at Highland Ridge Apartments due to the ongoing unsafe and unhealthy living conditions, lack of accountability, and growing frustration among residents. Within the past year alone, the property has undergone three different management changes, creating instability, poor communication, and a serious loss of trust between tenants and the property owner. Residents have reported inadequate heating, raising serious concerns about whether their homes will be properly heated as the colder winter months approach. In addition, tenants continue to face severe mold problems, rodent and insect infestations, broken building entrance doors that compromise residents' safety, and completely destroyed mailboxes that leave personal mail and packages vulnerable to theft. These conditions are not simply maintenance concerns; they are serious threats to the health, safety, dignity, and overall quality of life of families who deserve safe and habitable housing. This meeting is essential to bring residents together, document ongoing violations, rebuild collective power, and establish clear demands for immediate repairs and accountability from property ownership and management. Tenants deserve more than empty promises and constant management changes. They deserve meaningful action, transparency, and lasting solutions. The goal of this meeting is to ensure residents have a unified voice and a concrete plan to hold those responsible accountable for providing the safe, secure, and healthy living conditions they are entitled to.
