Save Our Homes Now! Rally for Neighborhood Restorations Homes!

Join us for a a rally calling on the city to commit funds to save the Neighborhood Restorations Homes. Neighborhood Restorations/Prime Property is a company that owns 925 affordable rental units in West and Southwest Philadelphia. Last July they announced their intention to sell. The sale of these units to a private developer could not only displace thousands of residents but also cause increased housing costs across the neighborhood. The city has said they are working on it, but has yet to commit the funds. This rally will be held at in front of a group of Neighborhood Restorations Townhomes that are among the 225 homes whose affordability contract has already expired. This rally is to call on the City to commit the funds immediately to protect their affordability. We are calling on the city and state to commit funds to keep all 925 properties permanently affordable and to sell them to interested tenants at affordable rates.
