About this event
Calling all young explorers! Our next Do the DAN is taking over Duncan Park with a Jr. PAL Invasion on Saturday, October 24 from 9:00-10:00 AM at the Duncan Park Watershed Ecology Education Station! Designed especially for elementary-aged kids, this hands-on citizen science adventure will be led by PAL’s very own Ben Lea. Kids will explore, observe, learn about the natural world around them, and work their way through Level 1 of the Jr. PAL Program! Every young explorer who completes Level 1 will head home with an official Jr. PAL hat AND Level 1 pin! To register your child, please RSVP using the parent or guardian’s name, then reply to your confirmation email with the name of the child attending. Each RSVP automatically reserves a spot for one child. If you’d like to register more than one child, just reply to your confirmation email and let us know how many kiddos you’ll be bringing! Since we only have room for 20 Jr. PALs, please make sure each child attending is accounted for. No donation necessary to attend, but registration is required.
