Students, faculty, and anyone who cares, please join us on October 20 at 1:00pm at the GVSU logo in front of the clock tower, and next to the Pew Library, to demand an AI FREEZE! We’ll gather with fellow students, professors, community members, and allies, with 3-4 speakers sharing their testimony about how unregulated AI has impacted our lives, jobs, communities, and futures – and we’ll call for an immediate freeze on AI development now. Because we the people deserve a say, a stake, and basic safety, and we need to determine the future of this dangerous, powerful technology – not leave it to a handful of Big Tech CEOs who admit that this could lead to the end of the human race as we know it.
