Douglas Halloween Parade - Be Visible Indivisible!

Join us for the 28th Annual Douglas Halloween Parade for Adults. This exceptional event pulls around 15-20,000 people to Downtown Douglas for an absolute extravaganza of creativity and fun. We see this as a GREAT opportunity to be seen and get our message heard. Photos and video will be posted to every conceivable social media outlet and go around the world, following the event. We’re hoping to attract some national media attention. Our SOS Democracy float will lead our group, complete with our joyful-faced Statue of Liberty and be accompanied by our members with positive, aspirational messaging. Other Indivisible groups in the area are welcome to get in on the fun, the more the merrier! We will meet in main lineup near the end of the parade. *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
