About this event
SHOWING UP FOR COMMUNITY SHOULD FEEL LIKE COMMUNITY There's something powerful about coming together as relatives and neighbors. See familiar faces, meet new ones, and celebrate the people and communities that are the heartbeat of Yanaguana, San Antonio. Our Voices Roll Deep is bringing that spirit to the streets! We'll kick things off with a community ride through San Antonio, showing up together to take up space, be seen, and be heard. From there, we'll roll into a family-friendly, cookout-style celebration with good food, music, games, activities, and plenty of opportunities to connect. And the polls are right across the street! During Early Voting, registered Bexar County voters can vote at any designated early voting location in the county, no matter where they live. With the polls just across from our gathering, we can come together, vote alongside our neighbors, and keep the celebration going with good company and community care beyond the ballot. Voting can sometimes feel intimidating or disconnected from the communities it represents. We're coming together to make room for something different. A space where people can show up as themselves, move how they move, and feel the joy of being part of something bigger than any one election. Our voices matter beyond a ballot, and they show up in how we care for and encourage one another! This is the heart of Our Voices Roll Deep Whether you're riding with us, meeting us at the party, or simply coming out to enjoy your neighbors, there's a place for you here!
