Durham/Hey America, Let's Vote - (Angie's Jamaican Grill & Tranformative Justice Coalition)

Hey America, Let’s Vote! We’re turning the ballot box into a block party! Join the Transformative Justice Coalition and Angie's Jamaican Grill for a celebration of civic power, music, and community spirit during the 2026 General Election early voting period. Whether you’re casting your ballot early or getting ready for Election Day, this concept is designed to make voting an enjoyable, inspirational experience for individuals and families. THE VIBE is all about high energy, community connection, and democracy in action! Step into our "Celebration Village" to enjoy free food, music , and fun attractions. Past villages have even featured perks like free haircuts, school supplies, free banned books and the Hoopbus encouraging community members and voters to show off their basketball skills. Beyond the fun, we're here to make sure everyone is ready to make their voice heard. On-site voter status information will be available. Come for the community, stay for the fun, and let’s show up for the neighborhood we love! Bring a friend, meet the community, and let’s make it count. **Any food, entertainment, buttons, stickers, or any other free items at this event are available to voters and non-voters alike. This is a nonpartisan event.**
