Get Corporate Money Out of Our Elections

Wednesday, November 11, 2026 · 6:30 PM PST
2124 Brewster Ave, Redwood City, CA 94062
🤝civic engagement
Since Citizens United in 2010, campaign finance laws allow corporations to significantly influence elections. California legislation (AB1984) introduced this year aims to reduce the impact of corporate dollars. Join us in Redwood City for an engaging panel discussion and Q&A. We'll gather in-person to for a live webinar with political strategist Christopher Armitage, Tom Moore of the Center for American Progress, and Democratic California Assemblymember Chris Rogers. We'll explore how to use state power when the federal government is unreliable. After the webcast, stay for networking and more discussion with fellow activists about important actions we need to take post-midterm elections. If you are unable to attend in-person, a link will be provided for the webcast portion. This event is co-sponsored by Indivisible Mid-Peninsula and Indivisible Portola Valley.
