🚐Day Trip from LA to Bakersfield to canvass for Randy Villegas

Join the Westside Democratic HQ for a day trip to Bakersfield on Tuesday, October 20 to canvass for Dem candidate Randy Villegas! Our mission is to flip Congressional District 22 blue and ultimately take back the House! Help us EVICT Valadao, who voted with other Republicans to gut Medicaid (after promising his constituents he would protect it). Help us ELECT Randy Villegas, who is ready to fight for older adults and working families! As you know, ballots have dropped and we need Democratic-leaning people to vote. We'll meet at the WDHQ in Venice to board transportation early on Tuesday, Oct. 10 and then meet the bus provided by Reproductive Freedom for All. Upon arrival in Bakersfield, we'll meet the candidate and spend the day knocking on doors and talking with voters, and then return in the evening. As a volunteer, you'll be participating in the Democratic Party's Statewide Day of Action and serving on the WDHQ's ground team for priority Congressional campaigns. This is important work and we would love to have you join us. Meetup location will be at the Westside Democratic HQ, located at 228 Main Street (near Rose). There is no parking available at the HQ lot, but there is a nearby city lot at Main & Rose with inexpensive parking.
