Doors Before Dark: 2026 GOTV training and action

Doors Before Dark: Halloween GOTV Canvass Join us Saturday, October 31, for a focused daytime canvass to help turn out friendly voters for Democratic candidates. We’ll start with a 45-minute training, then head out in pairs for a 75-minute door knock. You don’t need canvassing experience. We’ll cover the script, how to answer common questions, how to record each conversation, and how to wrap up politely when someone is busy. Costumes are optional; if you wear one, please keep it recognizable and leave masks at home. After the canvass, we’ll regroup to share what we heard and help you sign up for a GOTV shift on Sunday, November 1, through Election Day, November 3. Choose a shift: - 10:00 a.m.–12:00 p.m. - 12:00–2:00 p.m. - 2:00–4:00 p.m. - 4:00–6:00 p.m. Come meet the team, enjoy some food, practice together, and help voters make a plan to cast their ballots. Bring a friend if you can! Location: 508 E center St. Pocatello, Id 83201
