About this event
Did you know that 2-3% of children in the USA do not have a bed? Sleep in Heavenly Peace builds beds at no cost for children who need them - and LD3 Dems is honored to be a part of it, with your help. We are scheduled for prepping bed building on Tuesday, November 17th. Check in for the shift is from 7:00 - 7:30 am, and we'll work until 11:00am. No building or handy experience is required. Must wear closed-toed shoes ( no Crocs) and work clothes. You don't need to bring anything - all tools, gloves, goggles, and masks are provided. Since the warehouse where we will be building is south of the 202 in Tempe we will be carpooling and will designate a place to meet. You are welcome to drive yourself if you prefer.
