Beyond the Ballot: Why Your Vote Matters at the Polls!

LET’S PARTY AT THE POLLS! The purpose of this event is to serve as the NAACP October General Body Meeting while bringing together the civic missions of the NAACP and Alpha Phi Alpha Fraternity, Inc. The program will highlight the importance of voting, advocacy, and civic participation while incorporating Alpha Phi Alpha’s “A Voteless People Is a Hopeless People” initiative. Students will be encouraged to understand the power of their voice, remain informed about issues affecting their communities, and recognize civic engagement as an ongoing responsibility beyond Election Day. Transportation to Early Voting Locations will be available! Celebrate our community. Cast your vote. **Any food, entertainment, buttons, stickers, or any other free items at this event are available to voters and non-voters alike. This is a nonpartisan event.**
