SURJ Safety and Security Training for Enforce Actions!

Trump 2.0 is ramping up attacks on our movements to scare us into silencing ourselves. We’re not falling for it. Join SURJ for a 90-minute training to build the safety and security skills your group needs to keep taking bold action. What we’ll cover: • Physical safety: Assessing risk and de-escalation basics • Digital security: Protecting your phone, using Signal, and keeping organizing chats safe • Legal: Dealing with police, the police liaison role, and jail support if someone gets arrested • Social and emotional: Grounding yourself during actions and debriefing after White folks’ role in movement safety: Using our relative privilege to take bold action. No experience needed. Build the skills now so you’re ready when it counts.
