Accessibility on PRT Vehicles - Board Meeting Testimony

Pittsburghers for Public Transit has achieved changes to making more clearer understandable for riders using wheelchairs, mobility devices, and caregivers with strollers. Over the past year, new announcements and visual markers have been added to vehicles, something that riders have need. However, there is still much to be gain by listening to riders who experience pass up by full buses, tight spaces with limited access. We have been researching options, listening, and documenting our experiences and want to bring them to the October Board Meeting to make sure that PRT is taking action to make sure that riders in all stages and abilities can get to where they need to go.
