Election Night Volunteer Training: Precinct Results Reporting! The Oklahoma Democratic Party is recruiting Election Night volunteers to help collect and report precinct-level election results across the state. We especially need volunteers in Cleveland, Canadian, Pottawatomie, Oklahoma, and Tulsa Counties. Join us for a virtual Zoom training to learn how to serve as an Election Night Precinct Results Volunteer. This is a simple but incredibly important role that helps our team independently track election results as they are reported. What You'll Learn: How to locate publicly posted election results at your assigned polling location after polls close at 7:00 PM. How to identify the official precinct results tape and capture clear, readable photographs. How to ensure your photographs include the precinct number and results for all required races. How to submit your results directly to our Election Night reporting team via text message. What to do if results are delayed or difficult to locate. What to Expect on Election Night: Volunteers will be assigned one or more polling locations to visit after polls close at 7:00 PM. Once poll workers publicly post the precinct results, volunteers will photograph the results and text them to our reporting team. Results may not be posted until 7:15 or 7:30 PM, so volunteers should be prepared to wait. No prior experience is necessary! All you need is a smartphone with a camera, reliable transportation to your assigned polling location, and a willingness to help. Whether you're a first-time volunteer or a seasoned election volunteer, your participation will help us gather timely, accurate results from communities across Oklahoma. Sign up for this Zoom training and help us make every precinct count on Election Night!
