Texas AFT Listening Tour Socorro AFT

Texas AFT is hitting the road for a 15-stop statewide listening tour, giving educators, school support staff, and community allies a direct line to shape the fight ahead of the 2027 legislative session. At each stop, members and non-member allies alike are invited to share what's happening in their schools and communities — from working conditions to funding gaps to the everyday pressures shaping public education in Texas. What we hear helps shape our strategy, turning local stories into statewide leverage as we push toward a fully funded, protected, and respected public education system. Our kids are worth too much to leave any voice out of this fight. Sign up and we will send you all the details you need to know!
