PORTLAND: HCAO Community Building - Walking, Tea Tasting and Body Doubling on HCAO Work

HCAO Portland!!! We are fully in our wind up to get our universal health plan turned into a universal health care bill this session. In the meantime, let's remember what separates us from the opposition. We are grounded in community and we fight together because we truly believe the work we are doing is needed. We are not paid to do this work, but take meaning in the work we do, which is elevated by the fact that we get to do this as a community. Your Portland chapter chair will be organizing community building days. I know this is during the work week and not everyone will be able to join. But I really want those of us who can attend to be able to be building some community together. Expect to begin with a walk followed by tea tasting. Feel free to bring snacks to share. **The first two hours are dedicated towards exercise and community building. ** **The following three hours are meant to lightly do some HCAO work together in an effort to body double and win universal health care. Please bring your laptop if you have one. There will still be quite a bit of just hanging out**
