"Bring Your Own Book" Club with NELC-Indivisible

# "Bring Your Own Book" Club with NELC-Indivisible ## The freedom to read is under attack - so let’s do something about it! **NE Lake County Indivisible** is hosting a **"Bring Your Own Book" Club.** For the month of November, we will explore the theme of **Indigenous peoples.** Participants are encouraged to read ANY book relevant to Indigenous peoples' histories, characters, and lives. Books may be fiction or nonfiction. 📅Date: Saturday November 21 🕝Time: 2:00-4:00pm 📍Location: Warren Newport Public Library ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ More about this "Let Freedom READ" initiative: This event is following interest from our October 10 "Let Freedom Read" meeting which argues that now more than ever, we need to encourage literacy, inclusivity, and freedom of choice. These events are built upon the importance of defending books from censorship, standing up for libraries, and taking action in support of literacy and education. Let Freedom READ is a national effort. More information can be found here: bit.ly/LetFreedomReadDay Want to take action NOW?
