FREEZE AI in ANGELO!

We the people are aware that data centers are right at our back door here in Angelo… There’s no denying it. It’s caught a lot of our attention and there’s NO LOOKING AWAY 👀 On Tuesday, October 20, at 8am we'll stand with others across the country calling for an AI FREEZE! (Location provided after invitation is accepted.) We’ll gather with fellow community members, students, professors, and allies to rally outside of the City meeting that morning, then join the hearing to educate ourselves on data center developers' plans to “industrialize [our community] for economic growth.” * On 10/15, we will have a strategy meeting at ASU together with students. (Hosted by: Gracielle) * On 10/19, we'll host a Zoom call at 8pm to go over everything. (Link to zoom call will be provided the night before through MOBILIZE.) * On 10/20, we will gather outside the south entrance at 8am and speak to the group to go over everything in case anyone missed the meetings. ‼️TAKE NOTES, TAKE PHOTOS, TAKE VIDEOS!‼️ We want to show the world what these developers' are saying in their own words. This is not our last action—we'll be back! Bring your signs, your notebooks, your family, your friends, your neighbors.
