Rock-The-Vote & Learn About Early Voting

Rock-The-Vote & Learn About Early Voting We are in the final stretch. Democracy is not a spectator sport. Pick something. Do something. Bring someone with you. Join us to paint VOTE rocks and take them with you to place in high-traffic areas around Gaston County. We will have information on early voting, how to register and vote on the same day, how to check your voter registration, and nonpartisan voter guides. If you want to see change, we need your help to convince your peers to participate in this year’s midterm election. Turnout in midterm elections is 20% lower than in presidential election years (40% vs 60%). Just because you are motivated to vote does not mean your neighbors and friends are. Poll results are meaningless if the people polled do not show up to vote! If you truly want to see change, we need your help to motivate our community members to vote!!! To achieve change, we need to turn out voters who want: * Funded Public Schools & Gaston College * Affordable Healthcare * Affordable Housing * Fair maps * Voting Rights * Fair Taxes Time for the “Power of the People” to make sure the people in power are working for *us*!
