About this event
*Party to the Polls* Music, neighbors, and a second line to the polls to GEAUX VOTE! Let’s make an afternoon of it. Join Claws Out NOLA, the New Orleans chapter of Cat Ladies for America, on Saturday, October 24, as we join Ole & Nu Style Fellas Social Aid & Pleasure Club, Les Fous du Carnaval, and Sportsmen’s Kids for a second line from Tremé to City Hall, early voting, and community speakers. We’re joining **Put the Party Back in Politics** and other community partners to bring people together in a way New Orleans knows well: out in the streets, with music and good company! Wear a costume, bring a parasol, put on your cat ears, or come as you are. Bring a friend. Bring 3! Bring ya mom’n’em! You’re welcome whether you’re voting that afternoon, have already voted, or are coming to support your neighbors. **THE PLAN** *This signup is for the downtown route.* [See companion second lines happening that day.](https://www.mobilize.us/mobilize/event/1039437/) • Saturday, October 24: Gather at **12:30 pm**. • Meeting point: **Tremé Center**, 900 N. Villere St., New Orleans, LA 70116. • **1 pm**: Second line departs for City Hall. • 2 pm: Parade disbands at 1300 Perdido St. Make time for early voting and speakers at the City Hall gathering.
