Lee County Public Schools Coalition Launch Saturday, November 14, 2026 1:30 PM – 4:00 PM Fort Myers Regional Library — Meeting Rooms (Separate Building) Fort Myers, Florida Families for Strong Public Schools Lee invites local organizations, community leaders, parent groups, educators, advocacy organizations, and other partners to join us for a collaborative gathering focused on one shared goal: Strengthening public schools in Lee County. This will be an opportunity for groups from across our community to come together, build relationships, share priorities, and strategize about how we can more effectively support students, educators, families, and strong public education. We know there are many organizations throughout Lee County already doing important work. Rather than working in separate silos, we want to create opportunities to connect our efforts, share information, identify common goals, and build a stronger coalition for our public schools. What to Expect Join us for light refreshments and an informal but productive conversation about: The biggest challenges currently facing Lee County public schools Opportunities for collaboration between community organizations Supporting and amplifying educators, parents, students, and school communities Improving public awareness and engagement around education issues Coordinating advocacy and community outreach Identifying shared priorities and opportunities for collective action Creating stronger communication between organizations working to support public education This is not about every organization agreeing on every issue. It is about finding the areas where we do agree and determining how we can work together to make a greater impact. Who Should Attend? We welcome representatives from parent and family organizations, education advocacy groups, teacher and employee organizations, civic and community organizations, neighborhood and grassroots groups, student organizations, nonprofits, faith and community partners, a
