About this event
Clayton Gibb will be presenting the early findings of his Northern Saw-whet Owl tagging project. His presentation will delve into the world of avian tracking technologies, Southern Appalachian ‘sky islands’, and the breeding biology of these elusive predators. Clayton is a researcher with Wild Bird Research Group, a bird research and education non-profit. He is a former board member of Asheville’s Blue Ridge Audubon Chapter and has previously worked for the NC Wildlife Resources Commission on various bird monitoring and research projects.
