Clean Energy Cafe: BESS in the Hudson Valley

Join New Yorkers for Clean Power for an evening of open conversations, knowledge-sharing, and community connection during this BESS educational event. With five BESS, or Battery Energy Storage System project proposals across Ulster County this fall, misinformation is all around us. This event is a welcoming space to learn more about the technology, safety precautions, and Ulster County’s position as a potential leader for clean energy storage in New York State. Starting with an accessible presentation and guest speakers from Sustainable HV and NY-BEST, we will move into breakout groups and a Q&A session, before time for small campaign actions and casual conversations from 7-7:30pm. Questions? Reach out to Kate McCann at kmccann@greencorps.org.
