SATS: Know Your Rights Outreach - Help protect SO. BRONX against ICE w/ TMNYC

Show up in solidarity with your NYC neighbors in the South Bronx. We have tens of thousands of small business in New York City left to go, and we need your help to do it. No training required to join us for a shift. Working in pairs, block by block, we will meet with owners, managers, and employees at their work sites. We use multilingual, legally vetted materials to ensure they know how to protect themselves now, what to do if ICE comes, what to do in case of detentions, and where to find additional resources. Everywhere we've gone, we've had really good experiences helping store managers, bar/restaurants, parking lots, etc to prepare and better protect employees in the event of ICE raids. You'll join volunteers with Target Majority NYC to talk to give business owners and managers the crucial Know Your Rights info they need to better protect their employees in the event of an ICE Raid. You'll help them put up signs to create as much protection as possible within their place of work, and declare solidarity.
