Block Walks: Steven for D1 & Cheryl for AISD D1 Trustee

Join the Steven Brown for Austin City Council District 1 & Cheryl Bradley for AISD District 1 Trustee campaigns for joint community block walks in East Austin! Steven is a 4th-generation Austinite, single dad of two, a 20-year healthcare professional, and longtime proven community advocate. Cheryl is a former AISD District 1 Trustee from 2002-2015, with years of experience advocating for D1 students, families, and schools. Together, our campaigns are talking directly with neighbors about the issues affecting their families, schools, and neighborhoods most. We want to make sure their voices remain heard beyond this election cycle and part of our rooted community-powered movement. New to canvassing? No problem! Volunteers will receive a quick training before knocking doors and will go out in pairs. No campaign experience is needed — we'll provide everything you need to start! Please bring comfortable walking shoes, water, and a fully charged cell phone with MiniVAN downloaded if possible. Early Voting: Oct. 19–30 | Election Day: Nov. 3, 2026 Learn more about the campaigns at www.brownforaustind1.com & www.cherylbradleyford1.com
