Show Our Strength Labor General Election Door Canvass

Knock Doors for Question 1 in Southern Maryland Help us mobilize union households for the November General Election! Join the Metropolitan Washington Labor Council, AFL-CIO on Saturday mornings in Southern Maryland to knock doors and talk directly with fellow union members and union households about Question 1 – Arbitration Reform for State Employees, a critical ballot question on the November General Election ballot. This is a union-to-union organizing effort. We’ll be talking with union households about what Question 1 means for public employees, collective bargaining, and the power of workers to have a voice on the job. Our goal is simple: make sure union families have the information they need and are ready to vote YES on Question 1. No canvassing experience is necessary. We’ll provide training, materials, talking points, and everything you need to have effective conversations at the doors. Bring your comfortable shoes, your labor movement spirit, and a willingness to talk with your fellow union members. Every door we knock is an opportunity to build union power and win in November. Sign up today and join us Saturday mornings in Southern Maryland! When union members knock doors together, we win together.
