About this event
The IEB Gaza Action Squad's special guest on October 26 will be a Bay Area surgeon who recently returned from 3 weeks' work at al Shifa hospital in Gaza City. Our guest will describe how his international team from a small NGO, Humanity Auxilium, worked with local doctors, in particular women, to provide care where medical supplies are subject to engineered shortages. While Israeli attacks targeting medical workers and infrastructure have diminished, there are ongoing missile and drone strikes on the general population, as well as the stress of general deprivation of water, sanitation, and shelter on the millions of inhabitants. All are welcome.
