Rally for Democracy

We rally on the public sidewalk on the NE corner of Georgia Ave and Forest Glen Rd every Friday evening in support of democracy. Our gathering is kid and dog-friendly: bring a neighbor! Bring your signs in support of: voting, government workers, immigrants, the rule of law, the planet, our children, and for jobs. Please stay safe by staying on the sidewalk, crossing at cross walks only and obeying all pedestrian walk signals. Please watch the weather and for your safety, stay home if thunder/lightening is in the area. Thanks. Parking available on side streets and we are conveniently located across from the Forest Glen Red Line Metro station. This a local Indivisible event! *A core principle behind all Indivisible events is a commitment to nonviolent action. We expect all participants to seek to de-escalate any potential confrontation with those who disagree with our values.*
