Caring for Our Community Trees

Join Tree Pittsburgh this Fall in the Mon Valley for a free tree education series! Whether you're new to tree planting and care or want to build your skills, these sessions will give you practical, hands-on experience and useful knowledge you can apply to the trees in your neighborhood. *Register now to stay up to date on session dates, locations, and other event details.* Throughout the series, you'll learn about tree planting, tree care, tree health, and common tree stressors through a mix of hands-on activities and classroom-style learning. We'll host most sessions in *Braddock, PA *, with additional sessions in *Rankin, PA*. Some sessions will use a hybrid format with an online portion. You can attend the sessions that work for your schedule. We'll provide refreshments at most in-person sessions. *Come prepared for the weather!* We plan to hold outdoor sessions rain or shine and will only cancel or reschedule when severe weather, such as thunderstorms, makes it unsafe to continue. *Need accessibility support?* Email the ReLeaf team at releaf@treepittsburgh.org or call 412-781-8733 (x213). Please contact us at least *72 hours before the event you plan to attend* so we can best support your participation. Complete all sessions to earn your Tree Tender certification and receive a pair of hand pruners. Come learn with us, build your tree knowledge and tree care skills!
